Discipleship Counseling Class
This class seeks to equip the body of Christ to better “speak the truth in love” to one another so the church is built up into the likeness of Christ (Eph 4:15). It will focus on equipping both the church as a whole—since we are all called to speak truth in love—and also those who desire to serve in the counseling ministry at Countryside, covering key areas important to providing others with biblical counsel. Registration for the class is required.
Annual Class and Training Schedule
The counseling class is a 30-week course and will cover key areas important to providing others with biblical counsel. Level 1 classes will take place in the spring of even years (2026, 2028, etc.); Level 2 classes, in the fall of those same years.
Class and Training Location/Time
The classes will meet in a hybrid format. Half of the classes will meet during the third hour of Sunday morning worship at 11:05 AM in the Student Center - Roots Hall, and half will be recorded lectures.
The following dates are the in-person classes for fall 2026: August 23, September 13, September 27, October 11, October 25, November 8, December 6, and December 15.

A more detailed weekly class outline will be provided in the first class.
Registration for Fall 2026
Registration for the class is required. Each adult who will be attending or watching the lectures must register to receive access to the class.
If you have not attended or completed watching all the classes for Level 1, you may still register for the Level 2 classes. Upon registration, a link will be provided that gives you access to all the recorded classes from Level 1. You will need to watch all of them prior to the beginning of the Level 2 classes.
If you would like to attend only the portion of the class which focuses on marriage and family to strengthen your marriage, you may register to attend only those classes (August 23 - October 11). You will not be required to watch all the Level 1 classes.
If you cannot attend the Sunday morning classes, you may register to watch the recorded sessions.
