Awana

Awana is a fun, high-energy club where kids study and memorize Scripture, play team games, and enjoy special activities throughout the school year. Awana clubs celebrate the gospel of Christ, with a particular emphasis on Scripture memorization. Our Awana clubs for kids age 3 – 12th grade typically meet on Sunday evenings during the school year.

This year, our Awana club will begin at home after Labor Day. We hope to resume in-person mid-year.

Awana at Home

Fall 2020

We are excited to come alongside and equip parents to help kids learn God's Word as they complete their Awana sections at home as follows:

  • Clubbers will work on memorizing their verses and completing any other portions of the section (Bible Studies, etc.) throughout the week. Club directors will send weekly reminders and additional resources to encourage all involved.
  • Parents or another adult will listen to their child's verses, sign off on their sections and periodically submit completed sections for club record keeping through the forms below (available starting September 13). Clubbers are allowed two helps (up to two words each) per section and additional information will be provided to parents by their club director.
  • Review sections for Sparks, T&T, Trek, and Journey will be said to an Awana leader over Zoom or the phone. Additional information will be provided in the coming weeks.

See the individual club pages linked above for additional details.

Cost of registration is $20/clubber per year. 2. Parent Signed Sections

Parents will sign off on many of their children's Awana sections since we are not meeting in-person. Clubbers are allowed two helps (up to two words each) per section.

Review sections for Sparks (Return Flights), T&T, Trek, and Journey cannot be said to a parent but must have been said to an Awana leader (details to come). All Cubbies sections can be said to a parent.

To submit completed sections for our record keeping, you will select the appropriate form below once club has started. You must submit a new form for every child.
