Adult Sunday School

Adult classes meet on Sundays during both services. The classes range in size from a dozen attendees to more than 100. Each offers a time of fellowship, prayer, and the teaching of God’s Word.

Our Adult Sunday School Classes will resume meeting in a rotation format (every other week) beginning Sunday, September 13 and Sunday, September 20.

Each year we hold a conference at Countryside where we enjoy worship, fellowship, and a weekend of study. Countryside Conference 2020 focused on missions.

Hearts of Hope

Hearts of Hope encourages and equips families who are involved with or interested in learning more about adoption and foster care. We gather several times throughout the year for fellowship and training.

Heritage Fellowship (60+)

Heritage Fellowship challenges seniors to actively fulfill their God-gifted ministries. Periodic gatherings and activities are designed for fellowship and encouragement. Heritage Fellowship collects canned goods for G.R.A.C.E. at most of its events, sends cards of encouragement, and the group holds an annual service project.

Home Fellowships

Home Fellowships are small-group Bible studies that meet once or twice per month in homes around the DFW metroplex. You are welcome to join a group at any time during the year. Home Fellowships provide a wonderful opportunity to make new friends, enjoy deep fellowship with other believers, and spend some quality time studying God’s Word.

Men of the Word

The Men’s Ministry equips men to deal with the practical issues of life in a biblical manner through teaching and fellowship. Events such as Men's Breakfast, Men's Night Out, and various fellowship outings consist of worshiping God together through music, teaching from the Word of God and fellowship with one another.

One28 (Young Adult Singles)

One28 is our ministry to young adult singles beyond college age, but not yet 40. The focus of this ministry is taken from Colossians 1:28, to “present every man complete in Christ.” One28 meets in the Chapel every Wednesday evening from 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm for a time of fellowship, prayer, and Bible study. One28 is a great place to find accountability and community with one-on-one discipleship for men and women.

Partners 1on1 Discipleship

The Partners Discipleship Program is designed to get you personally connected on a weekly basis with a mature and growing Christian in order to help you advance in your understanding and application of ten biblical themes that are critically important in the Christian life.

We facilitate a variety of opportunities for Countrysiders to participate in sports with each other as well as in city-run church leagues. Throughout the year men participate in basketball and softball. Co-ed volleyball (both league and pick-up play) is also available for men, women and youth.

The Women's Ministry ministers to the women of Countryside through teaching, equipping, discipleship, evangelism, and development of personal relationships. We hold monthly small group gatherings, as well as special events throughout the year.

Young Families

Beginnings is a ministry for young married couples. This group meets on the Friday nights of Home Fellowship weeks. We enjoy a meal together, and read through a book together, discussing how to apply Biblical truths to our marriages. We also have other get-togethers throughout the year. See the church calendar for specific meeting dates.

Foundations is a ministry for young families with children. This group typically meets during the school year during Home Fellowship weeks on Wednesday evenings from 7:00pm - 8:30pm in the Fellowship Hall. We enjoy a meal together each week, followed by a lesson and time in small groups for discussion and prayer. See the church calendar for specific meeting dates. Due to COVID, we will not be able to meet in-person on Wednesday nights during the fall semester and hope to resume in January 2021. For this fall, we are planning to have a combination of large group Zoom and small group Zoom and some small group in-person opportunities. Our first large-group Zoom will be on Wednesday, September 9.
