Dusty serves as the pastor of Northlake Bible Church, a church plant of Countryside Bible Church established in 2019. Prior to pastoring Northlake, he served on staff at Countryside as an Associate Pastor since July, 2011, providing oversight to the College Ministry and other ministries of the church.

Dusty graduated with a Master of Divinity degree (M.Div.) from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in May of 2010. Prior to serving at Countryside, he served in various roles at other churches in the East Texas area. Besides teaching the Word of God he also enjoys writing Christian music and leading worship. He and his wife, Rebecca, have a daughter, Avery, and a son, Luke.
