Youth Volunteer Application

Thank you for your interest in serving in one of our ministries here at Countryside Bible Church. There are many opportunities for you to serve in a ministry at Countryside:

Children’s Ministries (Vacation Bible School, the Infant & Toddler Nurseries, Summer Sunday School, AWANA, Countryside Fair, Kids Basketball Camp, etc.)

Youth Ministry Teams (Music, Ushers, A-team, Snacks, Nursery, MS Birthday, Games)

Youth Evangelistic Outreach (ex. Kid's Clubs, Kid's Basketball Camp, etc.)

 

Qualifications:

In order to serve, it is important that you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

You need to be growing in your sanctification: there should be clear indications of increasing patterns of righteousness in your life as you seek to grow more in your Lord and Savior.

You need to have an overall respectful and obedient attitude towards authority. This means your parents, your teachers, your youth leaders, and to anyone in a position of authority over you at church.

Your motivation for serving must be Christ-centered, not self-driven: ministry must flow out of our personal relationship with Christ and desire to glorify Him.

You must be committed to regularly attending the main Worship Service. If you do not attend Cross Culture or Cross Training regularly, then you may need to schedule a meeting with Justin before your application is approved so that he can get to know you.

If you are on the Music Team, you must be committed to attending Cross Culture or Cross Training at least 60% of the time.
